Woody Giessmann
Woody Giessmann became an addiction specialist and interventionist in 1993 after his time as the drummer for the rock band and warner brothers recording artists, the Del Fuegos. His journey took a profound turn after the loss of his brother, Brian, and his own battle with substance abuse. Determined to help others, woody dedicated his life to supporting individuals struggling with addiction and co-occurring disorders.
His approach focuses on guiding people toward recovery by helping them regain their health and reconnect with their authentic selves. Through his personal experience, woody has witnessed the devastating impact of substance abuse and untreated mental health issues, which fuels his passion for intervention and healing.

I have three decades of experience with a high success rate for interventions. Whether it is addiction for mental health, I offer my clients the best treatment options that fit both the individual and family. An intervention can be respectful and non-punitive. My invitational approach helps build trusting relationships with clients and family members, while finding the best fit for treatment based on location, affordability, and area of specialty.

I have decades of experience handling Court Ordered First Offenders assessments.
I work with clients and attorneys to assist with treatment recommendations to satisfy the courts. My services include a written assessment to help navigate the legal system to regain driving privileges. My experience includes working with the legal system with previous cases in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York City, New Jersey, Rhode Island, and California.

Individual and Family Therapy
As a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC-1) addiction specialist, I offer virtual individual, couples, and family sessions. In these sessions, I help clients identify the common underlying issues (e.g., depression, anxiety, trauma, ADD, ADHD) contributing to substance use.
